Marching On

"The Space Marines are Marching On''

This is a piece that I wish I had a photo of. It was a real battle I did against my younger brother's Dark Eldar (seen right) and his friend (younger brother of my friend) with his Chaos army (seen left). Being as sly as they are, I knew they would come after me first and try to take me out. So, naturally, I went straight up the middle and attacked both sides at once. It was a long battle, (the best part being when my brother's command squad lost in CC and failed their leadership test. I overran them and wiped them out. He was mad) but it finally came down to my Brother-Captain with his Powerfist and my Dreadnought (immobilised) but by then, my brother had about 4 of his winged guys left and the Chaos army was reduced to about one squad. Casualties on my side had been heavy (the tank pictured was taken out right away and served as excellent cover for the troops to attack from). It was a good day for the Emperor.

Another thing, this also is my birthday gift to Fourteen troops for the past years and One tank to spearhead the future.
