Well, a lot's happened in the month of October as well.

Starting with the latest update: After two weeks of resistance, my roommate finally gave me the flu. It could've happened at a more opportune time, but that's the way the world works. That week, the Anime club I'm part of had a very successful Halloween Masquerade dance (yes I went sick, with a mask over my face and everything) Despite my state, we all had a blast.

The next day, still sick, I went to Geekkon with my friends and That was great fun as well. I went to a panel by Ravensoft and found out a lot about what I'll have to do if I want to get employed there in the near future. We also found out our car was full of win. My two friends won "Best Performance" in the Masquerade for their awesome skit and I got 2nd place in the AMV contest for my Haruhi video [link]

Coincidentally, I finished my Big O amv, which didn't turn out half bad if I do say so myself. [link]

In conclusion, Geekkon was a blast and I'm looking forward to Daisho con later this month. It'll be my first time doing the artist alley which should prove to be an educational experience in and of itself.

On the other side of the spectrum, my webcomic isn't doing too bad. Getting sick threw off my schedule, but I'm planning on getting back to updates every two weeks. And no, I won't stop plugging this, because I'm having too much fun working on it. I will warn that it's about to get fairly violent (I'll have more on that when I update that journal)

That said, I'll probably be uploading a few random sketch dumps before I finish a print worthy piece. I've been kind of lacking inspiration lately, but I am motivated to come up with something new for the Daisho con art auction. We'll have to see how that turns out.
